For International Students

FOCUS is a community for international students. We know that living in a foreign country is hard, so we want to help you enjoy your time here: make some friends, explore Brisbane and beyond, be supported, and have fun together. And we know there is more to life than study, so we want to learn about Jesus who teaches us a life well lived.
We welcome everyone, from every background, and would love to meet you soon at our weekly meetings or other events.
We meet every week to eat dinner together, make new friends, play some fun games, and learn about Jesus. All this in easy english.

Take this opportunity to meet and get to know other international students during a beautiful summer evening in the park. Free dinner, outdoor games/board games.

GP Meet & Greet

Bubble Tea

Thursday 29th Feb | 4-5pm

G block, Gardens Point

Take this opportunity to meet and get to know other international students + bubble tea! Free bubble tea, chats, games.

International Food Night

Friday 1st Mar | 6pm-8:30pm

81 Musk Ave, Kelvin Grove

Come and make some new friends, have fun, get to know our group more, and hear good news! Enjoy a free international dinner provided. Vegetarian option available.

FOCUS Connect

Friday nights 6pm at Kelvin Grove Village
This is our main weekly activity. We gather as a community to make friends, enjoy dinner (vegetarian available), have fun and get to know more about Jesus. All welcome from every culture and belief.
