For International Students

FOCUS is a community for international students. We know that living in a foreign country is hard, so we want to help you enjoy your time here: make some friends, explore Brisbane and beyond, be supported, and have fun together. And we know there is more to life than study, so we want to learn about Jesus who teaches us a life well lived.
We welcome everyone, from every background, and would love to meet you soon at our weekly meetings or other events.
We meet every week to eat dinner together, make new friends, play some fun games, and learn about Jesus. All this in easy english.

Grey Gums Park, Kelvin Grove

Take this opportunity to meet and get to know other international students over a free lunch in the park. Drop in anytime during the two hour timeslot and stay for a bit to eat and enjoy some outdoor games/board games.

Take this opportunity to meet and get to know other international students + free masala chai tea and cake!

Country Daytrip

Wednesday 14th Aug

Lake Moogerah and more

Join us on the public holiday for a daytrip to the country. See camels, beautiful scenery and spend time with new friends. Transport provided. Contact us to find out more details.

FOCUS Connect

Friday nights 6pm at Kelvin Grove Village
This is our main weekly activity. We gather as a community to make friends, enjoy dinner (vegetarian available), have fun and get to know more about Jesus. All welcome from every culture and belief.
