Starting uni is challenging, but you don’t have to do it alone! Meet other students from the AFES groups at UQ, QUT and Griffith. There’ll be encouragement from God’s Word, stories of first year uni life, ways to get involved on campus and have fun together.

Kick off the semester with QUT Christians. Our first Main Meeting will get you into the rhythm and ready for growing, loving, reaching and sending each other with the good news of Jesus.
Free food will feature because its a great way to meet each other at the beginning of the year.
Friday of week 1, 27th Feb | GP 11am | KG 1pm
God speaks to us in his Word. The Main Meetings is the place we all gather as a big group to hear from the Bible and engage together around it. Each semester we explore a book of the Bible, digging deep to respond to its message. Be encouraged. Be challenged. Be inspired.
Our student-led Bible Connect Groups are smaller groups where we dig deeper into God’s word, grow your faith, and form strong friendships with other Christian students. They are at various times throughout the week on each campus.
Are you staying in Australia while you study? Come along to FOCUS to make friends and meet Jesus.
Locations can change each semester as we fit in around uni classes. Our facebook page will have best info on where to find us.
We would love to welcome you personally at any event or activity we organise. We know it can be a bit difficult to be with too many local students, but don’t worry, we’ll help you as much as we can. To make it easier, we have FOCUS for international students.
